Officer Program:

Civil Air Patrol (CAP) offers a wealth of professional education and training for our members. This training builds personal skills and self-confidence enabling members to effectively accomplish CAP's missions.

Our adults, who are called "officers" to differentiate them from our cadet members, come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. As a result, their professional development takes them from a strong foundation of education and training for new members, while allowing more experienced members to become experts in their chosen fields.

Members who engage in CAP professional development become eligible to receive special awards signifying their achievements, as well as satisfying requirements for promotion within the CAP organization.

Meetings:

Monthly business meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 7 to 9 PM in the squadron operations building at Oswego Co. Airport (see map). All meetings are open to prospective new members. Please feel free to come and learn more about what the officer program has to offer.
